Our History

Chimons Gas Limited, established in 1994 under the Companies and Allied Matters Decree 1990 (RC 261031), has played a pivotal role in the Nigerian LPG industry. As one of the pioneering six off-takers selected by the Federal Government of Nigeria, we are committed to ensuring a reliable supply of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) to meet the growing energy demands of the nation.

Over the years, our upstream assets, including the innovative flare gas projects at Cawthorne Channel 3 and Cawthorne Channel 2, coupled with our state-of-the-art LPG storage terminal in Koko, Delta State, have enabled us to align with national decarbonization efforts. By capturing and processing flare gas, we not only reduce reliance on imported LPG but also enhance Nigeria’s energy security. Since our inception, Chimons Gas Limited has evolved into a formidable force within the industry, achieving an impressive average annual turnover of N3 billion, while steadfastly advancing our environmental objectives.
